My Motorola DCX3200 keeps shutting down and resetting itself peiodically. Any suggetions?

This sounds like a possible power issue the cable box is having. Have you tried plugging the cable box in to a different power outlet? Also if connected to a power bar, please try connecting directly to the wall socket instead. Thanks for the quick answer. I called technical support last night and they recommended to try what you have just suggested. The box was plugged into a power bar, so I plugged it in to the wall outlet and 5 minutes later the box shut itself down again. I thought I would try this forum to see if I would get a different solution.
