I regularly play some of the games that were found as part of the options menu. Suddenly, the games icon has disappeared.
Sorry to say, they have been decommissioned. They really did not get used by many people, so the decision was made to remove them.
So nobody at SHAW thought that it might be a good idea to tell us in advance about this ???? Was the plan to take this function away without any kind of announcement and just hope that nobody would notice or complain ???? I actually played some of the games there once in awhile when I was bored or if there wasn't anything good to watch at the time. This is such an unprofessional way to do things. And nice touch by SHAW to do this the very same month another round of rate increases were announced. So maybe one of the SHAW bigwigs can answer this for me - since the Message function hasn't been used in years then why is the Message icon still there on the Gateway ????
I apologize for the abruptness of the games no longer being available. Thank you for your feedback. I am not sure the situation regarding the Message icon. It too potentially may be removed down the road.
Hey Don and Harvey - sorry that you guys have to ( once again ) face the wrath of SHAW customers when you had nothing to do with what's making us angry. I just can't believe that this was done with absolutely no advance warning. It's not as bad as losing a channel or a rate increase but a little courtesy here would have been nice. It's crap like this that makes it harder and harder to defend or recommend SHAW to friends that ask me about their services.
I can understand the dismay with the sudden removal of the games feature. I can see how a heads up would have been helpful and we appreciate the feedback on not receiving any notice. You mentioned rate adjustments and we'd be happy to review your account and services. If you would like us to take a look, please reply and let us know so that we can send a DM.

Hey Shaun - I just mentioned rate adjustments to point out that the timing of this was bad as it was done the same months we were hit with another rate increase. It's like if your favourite restaurant raised their prices at the same time they made their portions smaller.
