I am a Telus user. I have question regarding my Telus Tv. I am planning to switch my internet to Shaw due to internet very slow. Will my Telus TV work with Shaw internet after i switch over? Please some one advise.
You could have our internet and have another providers TV so that would not be a problem. I do not know if Telus would be able to work similarly but it would be best to reach out to them to find out.
Also if you wanted to look at the Shaw offerings for TV you can see all of our options here! TV Packages, Cable Plans, TV Plans and Rates | TV - Shaw Take a look and let us know if you have any other questions after that.
Theoretically possible, but two potential issues:
- Some people have said that Telus requires you to have either Telus telephone or Telus internet service to be allowed to have Telus TV. Unconfirmed. You'll have to ask Telus specifically.
- You might need a little physical reconfiguration to avoid conflict on your in-house coax cable. The easiest would probably be to switch your DSL telephone connection to the phone jack nearest to your TV, and place the Telus modem there. But make sure nobody is going to charge you a $100 installation fee for that.
Shouldn't be an issue, but make sure the tech knows not to touch anything else.. Install a cable connection for the internet, leave everything else alone. If Telus is already using some of the coax cables in your home, the Shaw tech may see them as unneeded and disconnect them.
Shouldn't be an issue, but yeah, sh** happens..
