Cable pushing people to cut the cord

Looks like Bell decided to spread their shows across multiple channels this year.  The programs were all on the main CTV channel last year.  I'm guessing it's an attempt to combat the upcoming 'pick & pay'.  It's a shame and i don't think they realize that they are actually alienating more viewers with their decisions.  Cable just doesn't seem worth it when they do things like this.  I wonder how Shaw will handle the upcoming changes and if they will help or hurt their business with their decisions...
