I upgraded from the standard 25mb plan to the 150 plan. I am not seeing any improvement when surfing the internet. Where can I go to test my speed? Videos I view still pause while it buffers.

Try speedtest.net or speedtest.shaw.ca Those should give a good measure of the new speeds.
A while back I used the 50 plan.
I down graded at that time to 25 as Shaw service was seldom up to 50 meg from my location so why pay for it.
Last week upgraded to the 150 plan Sure.
I seldom see 150 on speed test.
The signal on download graph is up and down like a yo yo.
Yesterday I could not even connect to Google with Laptops running Apple or Microsoft.
This evening testing and getting 30 to 75 and one max of 142.
Reboot done 1/2 way through my tests ( re powering the modem takes for ever) and even doing a Safe boot , same result.
I thought maybe since last year my signal would be better. But I don't see it.
During any test laptops were hard wired to the Hitro!
