So, if I understand this correctly, in order to have Shaw WideOpen available to you as an option, Shaw needs to have a FibrePlus backbone installed?
Or am I wrong, and can you get WideOpen without the FibrePlus requirement?
I noticed someone has been pulling and splicing fibre cables for the past several months in my area and it is still ongoing as we speak.
I am one of those unlucky people who live in an area where 150 is not available. Good thing I picked 120 when it was available. However the competition has been offering me several Fibre FTTN options without data limits and has been trying to get me to switch.
One of these days they are going to be successful. Not because of speed, but because of price.
