Since Thursday, my Hitron modem requires power cycling every 1.5 hours or so. I had the same issue several weeks ago and had the modem replaced. It was fine for about two weeks and as of Thursday, it continuously stops responding and requires a power cycle. I have reset the modem to factory defaults, replaced cables, connected via ethernet as well wifi and the problem still occurs. No wifi router is connected, only the Hitron is in use.
When it stops responding, I can no longer connect to 192.168.0.1. I've confirmed the issue occurs regardless of the coax cable being connected or not so the issue is related to the modem itself. All lights are on and flashing including the blue 1000 Mbps negotiated transfer lights.
I'm running firmware release 1A 18.104.22.168.
