How do I set my webmail inbox to delete old messages, such as after 90 days or whatever? My webmail inbox gets full from time to time and emails to me get bounced back to the sender.
We don't have a auto-destruct email option in our webmail but I can see how it could be useful. But more importantly, I think it could also be a very dangerous feature too. Turn it on and next thing you know, all of the older emails that you want to keep are disappearing.
If your webmail is close to 100%, make sure that they're organized by date received and then do a bulk delete by pressing this button -
The default is 25 at a time but if you go to Preferences -> General -> Other Settings, you can put it as high as 200. That'll let you do some major bulk deleting. But keep in mind that that'll send them to the Trash which will also have to be purged in order to clear up that space.
Another option is to organize your emails by size so that you can see which ones have videos or photos:
One email with a video can take up the same space as hundreds of regular emails. If there's any videos or photos you want to keep, download them to your computer's hard drive and then delete those emails. That should clear up a lot of space too!
