Strange indeed that after 10 years using Shaw Phone recently all my phone star code capabilities disappeared and I am left with a bare bone phone no longer able to screen unwanted phone numbers. Amazing! Shaw wants more money to re-enable them?!!
That's odd that this would have changed recently. Did you already talk to customer service about this?
Most of our phone packages include the star code features, but if you are on the grandfathered basic phone package then the would not have been part of that, though you may have been receiving them in error. We can certainly look into this for you, though. When did you notice the change? Are you able to manage your blocked numbers if you log into My Account?
I could add up to 32 numbers to selected blocking until few weeks ago but after Shaw updated its website all my past numbers disappeared and no longer I am able to enable the switch related to that feature. And when I try adding a number to be blocked a message says SHAW AT THIS TIME DOES NOT ACCEPT BLA BLA BLA.
