My cable box shows no IP on it. I have tried rebooting it several times.
Oh no dborod! Terribly sorry to hear that. This may be caused by a signal issue going to your cable box. Can you please try unplugging the power again, and then checking the coaxial cable that runs from the cable box to the wall outlet?
Try bypassing any splitters if you're using one on the outlet, unscrewing the coaxial cables completely and screwing them back in. You can also try replacing the coaxial cable if you have one available to swap out.

I'm finally speaking to a human at Shaw, and they told me that the cable box I've been using for years isn't actually on my account.

Everything has been working fine for years, and nothing has changed on my end in the past couple of days. It was telling me a few days ago that I hadn't been subscribe to channels that I know I should have. My Internet is working fine Michelle home phone is also working fine.
