Why is it so hard to find out what channels are in what packages?

I am looking at changing my TV package, but the website seems deliberately opaque. Every link that should show me different TV packages takes me to the same list of "Blue Sky" packages, whatever that is. I don't want Bluse Sky, but there is no way I can see to see packages that are not labeled as Blue Sky.

 

I just want to pick the few channels my wife and I want to watch. Why the hell can’t I just do that? This whole process has been designed to be painful and confusing so that customers give up and get packages with changes they don’t want just to get the few they do. I thought the CRTC was supposed to fix this, but now it’s even worse.

 

What a nightmare. This isn’t customer service, it’s customer punishment.

 

Does anyone know where I can get a simple list of channels and which packages have them ? Does such a simple, obvious solution exist?
