not liking the new way we have to go back to last channel, extra annoying move.
plus, why are channels telling us it is a new episode just to see it is a re run. what a pain, don't know who's fault that is.
Are you on Shaw BlueSky TV? The Last Channel bringing up multiple options is feedback that has been forwarded and hopefully a solution or work around in the future may be available.
As for the channels, information is provided to us weeks ahead of time by broadcasters. New episodes, to my knowledge, are identified by the broadcaster and update the guide from there. What channel are you noticing this 'New' episode on? Is it for a specific show as well or multiple shows?
some daily shows which are re runs.
and we do not have shaw internet to get bluesky, plus what good is bluesky when a person has difficult with speech.

There was a new update on some HD boxes that recently went through, which added a new "last channel" feature. You are still able to revert it back to the way it was though, if you prefer it that way.
