I have a cable outlet in the wall in a spare room that I don't think as ever been used and looks like it's not working. Does this need to be activated by Shaw, and if so what is the charge, does it require a tech visit?
If you've connected your modem, phone terminal or digital box to that outlet and there's no signal, we would need to get a technician out to connect that outlet for you.
For a new outlet or phone jack installation or relocation, there is a charge.
But if it's activation of an existing outlet or jack, there is no charge.
