I was hoping someone could help me out, I logged onto my Shaw webmail account yesterday to see that all of my emails, folders, and contacts were all deleted. What can I do now?
We've had about a dozen cases of shaw.ca email addresses where the inbox and other folders have seemingly disappeared. Our technicians on the email team investigated and found that the folders are still there, they're just... hiding.
Could you try this workaround and see if your emails and contacts come back for you? Go into your preferences and change it from Ajax to HTML -
Go into Preferences, change the sign-in from Ajax to HTML, and click Save in the top left. Then log out of webmail and log back in.
Let us know if everything comes back for you as it should! Whether it does or doesn't restore your emails and contacts, we'll still want to private message you for your email address. If it doesn't work, we'd want to take a look at it. And if it does work, we'd want to send it to the email team to be looked at.
