Since switching from Telus to Shaw I can no longer view my surveillance system using my WAN IP and port number. I can view the system using the LAN and port. I have forwarded the port on the Shaw modem and have no issues there as the LAN and port work fine for viewing. It is only when trying to view from another network using the WAN IP and port that are the issue. This is not a new system and has worked in the past on the Telus network with 3 different modems. Shaw have advised they do not have the technical expertise to help and unfortunately it is a bit late to return to Telus.
