This seems to have been asked before but doesn't appear to be been answered. I recently switched to Shaw Internet150 and my download data has skyrocketed from an average 210 gb per month to 1017 gb and also for a period of two months instead of the usual one month. I asked the on-line help to look and they suggested it was an anomaly from switching from the old rate. I do not use Netflix and my viewing of items on-line has changed although it is faster.
I have an app that sees what is connected to my network and nothing strange, I even changed the router password in case something was hidden. I also have the latest McAfee/Malwarebytes software. Any suggestions?
