I see you guys replaced Internet 30 with Internet 75 today.
Will existing customers who were already on Internet 30, automatically be moved to Internet 75?
Price points appear to be the same.
Yes, customers that are already on Internet 30 will automatically moved to Internet 75 around October of this year. We can certainly also assist in upgrade customers to Internet 75 from Internet 30 immediately.

Is this a free upgrade that will cost me the same as I'm paying for Internet 30 now? Do I have to sign a contract? Also will I be able to keep using my Cisco DPC 3825? I really don't want to switch to a modem with the Puma 6 chipset.
Did a live chat to confirm for myself, but yes, free upgrade, no contract, keep modem (I have the same one)
Hi allanbay2. As indicated by saberon, upgrade from Internet 30 to Internet 75 is free. Any agent can help with completing the change immediately, or it will automatically happen in October for all Internet 30 subscribers. You will be able to continue to use that modem type, no swap required for this change.
Just phoned in to upgrade but was told I'd have to upgrade my DPC3825...is this a recent policy change or a misinformed rep?
On an unrelated note for a friend: If he has a DPC3848V or Hitron modem, can they be bridged with Internet 75? I know before it was only Internet 150 that allowed bridging on those devices.
The agent is correct- DPC3825 is not compatible with Internet 75. The Hitron CGNM-2250 & Cisco DPC3848V will be able to be bridged on this plan as well.
Well I'm a bit confused now as Phillip mentioned that it's good to go with my modem, as well as the 1st agent I talked to. Other forums have members reporting it as using it without issue. Is this something that just changed in the last few days? I *really* don't want a Puma 6 chipset modem...
Apologies on the confusion with this! I stand corrected- DPC3825 is compatible with Internet 75, though we technically do not recommend it as the ideal set up. Reason for this is because the dual wifi network on the upgraded modem will offer a better user experience. If you are set on continuing to use the DPC3825 though, then yes, you would be able to do so.
Thank you for double checking, I started to panic haha. I am using bridged mode so there should be no concern as to the WiFi.
Thanks again Eva and have a great evening.
