safely remove usb mass storage device drives ( g; e.) also f what can I do? thanks Bob
Is that something you are seeing? Or want to do?
it pops up in bottom right corner of screen, I get a pop up saying too much memory is being used by firefox! does this make sense? it seems to be a norton pop up, I am away from that desktop till Weds it has Windows XP the same one I had trouble with before, then safely remove usb mass storage device drives! does this help? thanks Bob
Yeah, the USB mass storage, should happen when you plug something into USB? But may show up at random times for other things that are able to be unplugged without the computer shutting down...
Memory for Firefox, depends on your system specs.
Could be Explorer.exe restarting causing it to pop-up.
when i tried to locate problen it took me to a files box and firefox.exe was highlighted, i tried to e-mail it but came back,
The message "Emailing: firefox.exe" from firstname.lastname@example.org contained a virus or a suspicious attachment. The box with the original warning to remove storage is still there, we are away on vacation till Saturday and away from my desktop, should i remove the firefox.exe from the files? thanks for your help Bob
I hope that you were able to find out what was causing this alert. If you're still noticing this happening and want more details on what is causing this, I would suggest contacting Symantec (the makers of Norton) for support as it sounds like this alert is coming from your Norton software and they should be able to provide more information.
Thanks will try that when I get home, I'm sure it has got something to do with Norton, a freind of ours clraned the computer and installed Norton said it was better! the program is my Grandsons, I had Mcafee before with Shaw, do you have any thoughts on this ? thanks Bob
