Has anyone else experienced the issue with the cable pvr (motorola) box rebooting constantly since last week?
No reports of troubles from our end. Which specific HDPVR do you have?
It may be power related if it is plugged into a power bar, I will suggest to plug direct into an wall outlet if possible.

it has been 2 weeks now since shaw did the scheduled updates. ever since than the box shuts down for 5 minutes, than comes on in reboot for 5 minutes, shuts down again and so on and so on. ....... useless...... i was told by support that the forst monday there would be a proper update for my motorloa dcx3510m. wife is mad as hell because we are paying for it. i am mostly on the net myself.

Sorry to hear of the ongoing trouble with this. There's a few steps we can take to alleviate the trouble:
1. Pop the power out of the cable box for a full 5 minutes
2. Reconnect the power
3. Wait for the cable box to boot fully, use as normal.
