Why did shaw remove all the channel name icons from the guide?
16 hours and no reply from any shaw personal.
It's fixed, bet you can't figure out how I fixed it.
Your right, hardware reset. I wish shaw would have waited
for a bug free firmware, getting fed up with every 1 or 2 months
doing a hardware reset just to fix issue after issue.

My 3510 PVR still has no icons in the channel guide. When can I expect this to be fixed?
No fix from shaw. You have to fix it yourself.
Have you tried resetting the box by unplugging it for 30 seconds?
Yes I just did and it worked. I miss read the thread above and thought that shaw had to do the re-set.
BTW, what Facebook page are you referring to above? The only one I found was entitled shop Vancouver and didn't seem that current.

Fun fact: You don't need to unplug the power cable on the DCX3510 to reset it. Just hold the power button on the front of the box until you see 8888 on the display. Saves you from having to climb around an entertainment center or behind things.
