It's that time of year again, and cable prices have increased. I've scaled down on cable as much as I'm comfortable, so my next service to cut back on is: internet. I'm either reducing what I have or switching out altogether. Shaw seems to offer few options without increasing and paying more than what I'm paying at the moment ($80/month). Has anyone had any luck with other cable providers? Has anyone actually reduced their internet service successfully with Shaw? I find it rather amusing that when I look at their plans, only MORE of everything is offered when I actually need much less.
Thoughts are appreciated.
There are a few other providers in the city, Tekksavvy, Distributel etc., - anyone have any experience with someone other than these cable giants ?
