I use an RDP to connect to my office computer from home. The connection health status bar is only 2 of 4 bars and my lag / latency is awful. When I perform a speed test, I get great up and download rates. I previously had Telus as a provider and my connection was seemless and had virtually no lag but now, with the same computers, it is nearly unworkable. I have performed a traceroute and my company IT support reviewed the results and they noted that there are multiple hops on Shawcable that may be the cause. Can I streamline the route or change any settings to improve my connection?
