Yesterday the voice control on my BlueSky remote was working but today when I press down the microphone button, all it says is press and hold to try again . The tv volume is low, the battery is fine and the voice control is turned on.
Some times there maybe hiccups with communication to the servers that handle the voice recognition commands. Let us know if it continues to be a challenge with you, some times it can be a signal related challenge to your hardware, and other times it may be server side. If there's ever any known issues with the voice commands or other feature that is effecting all customers, alerts are posted at shaw.ca/updates.
This has been an ongoing issue for me. It seems to be quite random. One moment it works, minutes later it refuses to permit microphone usage. I have even tried changing remotes. It happens on multiple portals so it has to be a software issue.
