My internet works fine during the day and then the last two nights it keeps going on and off. Is there a problem with it? I have disconnected and reconnected both the router and modem. Is this just me or anyone else having this problem?

I've been having this issue as well for a couple of days now. Already did a power cycle and it's still happening.
I've been having it since Microsoft did a major fall update--in my case it was December 1 and my computer has been almost unusable since. Microsoft user discussions have many complaints--seems to impact some makes of computers differently. Did you have the windows update just before your problem. Are you running a Dell.
This has been happening to me also for a more than a couple days now. During the day its fine, but late evening and overnight its slow or cuts out... I checked my speed through a speed test and I was getting 8 mbps download speed... When I pay for 150 mbps download speed. I have also tried the reset methods, but none of that has worked.
Do you have any 3rd party equipment hooked up with the modem as well? Do you notice the slow speeds on direct connection or WiFi? Does the light sequence on the modem change when you notice the troubles? If so, what does it flash?
