My Dlink wireless camera will not connect to my nitron modem. Any hints please?
Do your devices need to connect using WPS (WiFi Protected Setup)? If so, this feature is disabled by default on the Hitron modem. But if you login to it's settings, you can choose to enable the button. It is possible that you require this to sync your devices to our Hitron modem. The WPS feature isn't fully supported by us, but it can be user enabled. See Hitron CGNM-2250 Advanced WiFi Modem - Guide for how to configure modem settings. If still seeing challenges, we would have to recommend to reach out to D-Link's support for assistance with those pieces of equipment.
We can see if we can help with this. Are you just setting it up for the first time, or was it connected before and has now stopped working?
Hi Tamara. Thanks for getting back to me.
Its a new D link camera.
I have also tried to hook up a wireless booster (Dlink) which worked fine at the last place we lived in Calgary. It was Telus at that time. Having the same issue.
It just does not seem to be able to find the router or something. I am sure there is a simple fix for a low tech guy like me.
Thanks a bunch!
I logged into my modem and enabled the WPS. Thanks!
