Shaw Internet Personal service level

I have my home internet totally down from 13 Jan. 2018, reported to Shaw same day and Shaw said they can only send a technician onsite to fix the problem on 24 Jan. 2018. This is in total of 11 days of no internet service to a home customer, this is totally unacceptable, wonder if other users in this forum has similar delay to fixing similar problems?
