Cannot Send Mail from all Accounts on iPhone

I'm trying to help my colleague Send mail from his iPhone. It is set up the same as mine with Shaw as the Outgoing Server exactly as recommended by Shaw. He has no problem sending mail from his Hotmail account, but he cannot send mail from his corporate account (we use Horde webmail which is downloaded to MacMail on our computers). He has no trouble receiving mail in either account. The error message is thus: "A copy has been placed in your outbox. The sender address *****@*****.com was rejected by the server. I can't understand why the server would recognize one email address and not the other, when neither are Shaw email addresses...
