I use the hitron wi-fi modem provided by Shaw and recently sometimes when connecting to either the 2.4GHz or 5GHz SSID regardless of device it will not let me connect. On iOS it will say “incorrect password” and on Windows and Xbox it will say “Can’t connect to this network”. Usually a simple reboot will fix the issue but that’s not really a true solution to the problem. I’ve also tried factory resetting the modem which didn’t solve the issue. One thing I discovered was when I couldn’t connect to the Wi-Fi network if I tried connecting to the guest Wi-Fi network it would let me connect with no problem which suggests that this could be an issue with WPA on the modem. This happens typically 1 - 2 times a week which can get quite at times. I’m not really sure what else I could do so I’m hoping someone on the forums could help me out.
