Shaw up/down-graded my router for a Hitron. Now I can't print. The Hitron has two USB ports for show. After an hours and bit searching, discovered they are disabled. What - did some kid choke on one?
We have several comps, not all on at any given time. They range ion O/S from XP to Windoze 10 (or whatever it's called they move another icon again and we have buy up - again.) to Linux. They use to connect via Wi-Fi, but the upgrade to the Hitron doesn't allow local printing, BUT, I see I can share my print material with the Internet, then print it = more bandwidth, more delays. I like to old fashioned print from home to home printer via home without my print being stalked as well.
Ideas?

Unfortunately, there isn't a way to enable the USB ports on the HItron modem. Alternatively, the Hitron modem can be bridged in place of a 3rd party router. We would recommend using a router that is dual band to utilize the 5G wifi network and still have 2.4G as a backup for any devices that is not able to connect and use 5G.
