I signed up to upgrade my internet from 25 to 75 and the installer came to install the new modem today.  He called his internal helpline to get my Hitron modem configured to bridge mode but was told that the modem can only be programmed to bridge mode if I was using internet 150 and cannot be bridged when I am only using internet 75 - this does not make any sense at all but my installer was also told that is because of a new billing system.  I am not sure if I should laugh or cry!  So without the bridge mode, I asked my installer to put back my old Cisco modem and now I am paying for internet 75 with internet 25 speed.  I would really like to know the "real reason" behind this please.
