The SMC8014WN allows changing the primary SSID Name and Password but does not give any interface for changing SSID2 through 4. How can this be done.
All of our wifi modems only have one active SSID. That's why there won't be the option to change others.
That is not true.
According to my setup screen it shows 4 SSIDs, with passwords. Each one of those SSIDs is numbered after the default SSID on the device when it was given by Shaw followed by 2, 3 or 4. The password is the numbered similarly with a 2, 3, 4 after the default password given by Shaw. Each one of those SSIDs with the respective default password allows a connection and gives full access. But there are no options to change those SSIDs or the passwords. Only the name and password for SSID1 can be changed.
Try a reset-to-defaults procedure, something may have gotten mixed up when the firmware update happened a couple weeks ago.
Push and hold the reset pin/button for 30 seconds or so.
Did kevinds suggestion fix that bug for you, jefftech ?
