My McAfee product from Shaw doesn't have the custom scan command. Any help?
Hi mac1964. It has the Shaw logo on it so it's definitely our branded version. But it looks like McAfee removed custom scan - McAfee Support Community.
I would be happy to look into this with you. I just need a bit more information to make sure we are on the same page. What exactly are you trying to do with a custom scan? Once I know specifically what you are trying I can take a look and see what options you may have.

So, with McAfee you can run a full scan, a quick scan or just a custom scan. Well, I cannot run a custom scan because I don't have this option (You know, if I want to scan just a folder or just a memory stick)

Could you try uninstalling McAfee, then reinstalling again? How to remove McAfee Internet Security software
I just uninstalled it and reinstalled but it's the same. I don't have the command to run a custom scan (see picture)
And if I am running McAfee Virtual Technician tool it's finding 1 problem but asking for my email and password from McAfee account, which I don't have because I download McAfee thru Shaw.
Hi guys. I figured it out. It doesn't have "custom scan" command but you can do a custom scan directly from windows. Just right click on what you want to scan and click scan.
