Can I use one MCUD and one MCUD1 on a MA5608T to realize both GE and 10GE uplink?
Would this happen to be for business services?

I'm pretty sure the MA5608T is used for the 'head-end' part of a FTTP (fiber to the premises). Maybe the telcommunications room of a multi-dwelling unit. Either business or residential.
To answer the question as asked...
Q: Can I use one MCUD and one MCUD1 on a MA5608T to realize both GE and 10GE uplink?
A: No, MCUD and MCUD1 are different main control board, their softwares are different, cannot be compatible with each other.
These would not be for customer's use.. Even to the bigger Shaw Buiness customers. Could be wrong though. zaralion I would be interested in seeing a picture if you actually have one installed where you are..
shaw-moderator I think this thread is just SPAM, trying to get the 'store' noticed as a place for Shaw to buy hardware from..
