I've noticed on certain TV channels (Fox News, CNN, MSNBC) that Shaw will replace US advertisements with in-house Shaw ads. Here in Edmonton on CNN, for example, it is common to see Shaw promos, as well as ads for the CISN Country radio station and the local Global TV station (Shaw, CISN, and Global are all owned by Corus, so I assume all three of these ads are considered to be in-house ads).
I'm curious to know the types of ads that are being replaced by the Shaw in-house ads. On the Fox News channel, for example, are Fox promotional ads being replaced by Shaw promotional ads, or is it "regular" American ads that are being replaced?
Do these Shaw in-house ads only replace American ads, or do they sometimes replace actual show content?
