If you have previously purchased your own Digital box do you still get a "free" one from Shaw?
We are only able to offer a complimentary rental standard definition cable box to customers in our Digital Network Upgrade areas who do not have digital equipment already. We aren't able to offer the complimentary rental to customers in DNU areas that already have digital equipment registered. For more information regarding our DNU, please see this document: Shaw's Network Upgrade.
Thanks for the information.....we have 3 older TV with co-axil connections& the HD box only
doesn't.........the black cable with the gold ends!! Is there another Digital Box
that you can use for older TV's??
I'm still in the "stone-age" when it comes to the TV, in that it's a tube-type. When things when digital, Shaw came out with a DCT700/US digital box. Is that the one you purchased?
No, they didn't have any of those left, so we had to buy the DCX3200!! And can't hook it up!!
Does your tube-TV have the composite Inputs? Red White Yellow?
I believe so!
The DCX3200 does have the Yellow Red White outputs that you should be able to use to hook it up
I believe I need a co ax cable.........& I didn't find any R,W or Y in the DCX3200 box!
No, they won't likely be in the box, but the 'dollar' stores usually have them, but they can be picked up almost everywhere.
The DCX3200 does not have coax output, so you can't use it to connect to your TV.
