My parents have a cordless phone with a built in answering machine (Panasonic KX-TGF352C).
Whenever the answering machine picks up, halfway through the "We are not available, please leave a message..." recording, the line will disconnect and callers can't even leave a message.
Since then, we've tried 6 different phones and they all have the same issue. At first we thought it was a phone issue but the answering machine on ALL 6 of these phones work perfectly on a Telus line. So why don't they work with Shaw? What can I do?
