I'm seeing some talk around these forums about IPv6 access. I currently subscribe to Shaw 150...can I get IPv6 enabled somehow? Do I need a different modem? I currently have a Cisco DPC3848V modem in "bridged" mode.
shaw-jason is incorrect. IPv6 has been rolled out for customers using the XB6 cable modem. For now, this is the only modem that allows it in Shaw's network.
Thanks for the question. That is not something that has been rolled out at this time but when it does happen we will be sure to let people know! Thanks.
See, that's what I thought based on other posts on this forum. How does one go about getting this modem?
