I've emptied my trash, deleted, sent, junk folders. My in box including sub folders is only using 186.82 MB - what is causing the quota warnings?
Did you sign into your Shaw email through a web browser to delete the content through webmail or did you delete your emails from a 3rd party client such as Outlook, Thunderbird, etc?
When you log in through webmail, what % do you see used on the bottom left?

I have similar issues. I get warning e-mails saying I'm at over 90 percent. Bottom left of webmail page says I'm at 92 percent. I regularly delete messages from all devices and see that the webmail server shows that they are all deleted too. I know that I was not able to receive a series of 4 emails that each contained 5 pics of our vacation. Is that because of being full? How do I resolve this? Your help much appreciated.
Just want to double check - if you log into Webmail and then go to the trash folder, are there emails there? You may just need to delete the items in your trash folder.
I double checked. There are no 0 messages in the Trash folder, 0 messages in the Junk folder and 0 messages in the Deleted folder. There are 83 messages in the Sent folder and 98 messages in the Inbox. I don't want to delete these. Please help. Very annoying not receiving some messages.
Do the messages that are in the sent and inbox folders contain large files, like videos or large images?
Sent Mail has 177 messages with 578 MB. I've scrolled through them all and don't see any videos nor large pic files. I've reduced the Inbox to 10 messages. I'm now deleted all Sent messages. I'm not happy to have to get rid of all these in my Inbox and Sent Mail as they are so useful to refer to from time to time. However, I'm doing so anyway. I hope it means no more quota warnings.
I meant to add that I have done the checking for empty folders on the Shaw Webmail site. The Deleted, Trash and Junk folders all have 0 messages in them.
pjmckenzie I am sorry for any frustrations caused. If it is still showing the same quota warning, your best bet is to touch base with technical support so they can take a further look into webmail with you.
