Dolby Digital 5.1 Audio drops out intermittently

I have a Shaw BlueSky Cable Box attached to an LG OLED 55 C7P TV. The TV is attached to a Denon AVR-1713 receiver with 5 speakers and a subwoofer via an digital optical audio cable.

My problem is when playing content from my Shaw Bluesky box with Dolby Digital 5.1 audio there will be random intermittent drops of audio throughout the content. Sometimes this happens more frequent than other times, and if you rewind - the drop will not be in the same place. Sometimes it sounds like it is just the dialog that is cutting out so it may just be the centre speaker.

You can hear an example of the problem in the video within the uploaded archive or here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/amgs9uneyutvqby/Video%202018-04-28%2C%2012%2003%2016%20AM.mov?dl=0

It happens with recorded content and live content on a variety of channels. It also happens with VOD content. It does not seem to happen when playing stereo content or using the TVs internal speakers or content from the TV's builtin apps.

What is going on here? How can I fix it?

Thanks.
