This is far too common with Shaw!
Common for you, perhaps. I've had absolutely no problems whatsoever. Everything works very well for me, and I live in Edmonton too.
What kind of problems are you having?
We did have a brief issue with some inbound lines to our call centre last night but this was quickly resolved.

Well, for starters, for the last two days at least I have virtually NO upload speed. Even running your own Shaw Speed test, it took me three tries to even get a reading on my upload speed. Finally Shaw gave me a reading of 0.05mbs. another speed test site gave me a reading of 0.09 mbs on my upload speed.
My download speeds are OK at 14.85 mbs
If you're still getting slow upload speeds, we'd have to find what is causing. it. If you are using a router, put your computer direct to the modem. Also boot your computer into safe mode in case you have an over-eager firewall program.

Yeah - tried all that.
No malware or viruses either.
Next AM I am back to 0.5mbs upload speeds. Made a call to Shaw Tech Support and was advised that they had tested it AGAIN, found it to be faulty and reprovisioned it. Runs like adeer.
