I can receive emails but cannot send all the sudden
Did you find the setting that was causing the issue? It looks like you are using all of the recommended settings at How to set up email in Apple macOS Mail
1) Are you getting any error messages? Or what happens when you try and send an email?
2) What are you using to send the emails? Mail-client? Which one? Webmail?
3) If you are using a mail client, what do the outgoing server account settings look like? Either a screenshot or what the 'box' asks for and what do you have entered.
I tried changing some of the account info based on what this site says to, but still not working.
Using Apple Mail program.
Error msg says; Cannot send message using there server mail.shaw.ca
Setting the outgoing sever to CUSTOM Port 25 , saving change, then closing and opening Mac Mail program should resolve this .
Need to see what your settings are to confirm if there is an entry mistake but,
User/Pass same as incoming mail
On a computer, go into Webmail, Preferences, General, Mobile Devices and Check Password, make sure it passes the check.
Neither options working.
I used it a few hours ago and was fine. I have changed my settings so many times now no idea what it was originally!
Doesn't really matter what they were originally, they wern't working either?

Laptop at work?iPhone?
Desktop at home?
Can you go line-by-line with what you currently have entered in each section of the account setup? Use something like firstname.lastname@example.org instead of your actual email address

Since incoming works, only need to adapt the Outgoing server info;
Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP): mail.shaw.ca
Use only this server; checked
server same; mail.shaw.ca
Use default ports (25,465,587): checked
Use secure Sockets Layer (SSL); checked (now)
Use default ports 587 only
There should be something along the lines of Authentication as well for the outgoing server.
Authentication set to: none
Authentication should be Password? and then using your incoming email username and password.
i don't remember what it is.
But by adding an authentication won't make it possible to start incoming mail?
Authentication is needed for the mail.shaw.ca outgoing mail server
Is there an option to match the Incoming mail?
