I am trying to hook my D2 Tablet up to Internet and cannot remember my password.
The ones I have tried keep giving my an authentication problem.
If you can login or create an account at http://secure.shaw.ca you can change your email password there. After changing it, you will need to update everything using the password now, with your new password.
Serial number of your Shaw modem (if the Shaw modem is providing your wireless coverage is the default), should be listed as Passphrase and serial number. If not using the Shaw modem for WiFi, or it has been changed, reply back, and we can direct you to the best place for more help.
I believe we're talking about general connection to wireless internet, not email.
If you have a Shaw wireless modem, find the modem and look for a sticker on the device. If it has not been changed from default, it will list the password there. If the password seen on the sticker doesn't work, you can manually reset the router to factory defaults by holding in the reset button on the back until all lights are blinking.
If your wireless router is not provided by Shaw, you would need to contact the support for your router (eg. Linksys, D-Link, etc)
