I've noticed that some (not all) of my email messages are not being sent out for days or even up to a week. I do not have any delay send features enabled or configured. My Outlook 2010 is set up properly, all settings are normal and operative. Yet I will compose a message, send it, then after the message moves from the outbox to the sent folder, I figure it's been sent. Usually it has.
However, on many occiasions, I will happen to go through my sent folder several days or a week later and discover that the date stamp indicates the email message I thought I sent on a particular day was sent on a much later date.. Often I will phone the person to ask if they got my email message, and they say they just got it yesterday, even though I sent it a week ago. And the date stamp in my sent folder indicates the message was only sent yesterday.
What's going on?
