New pvr box and can't record, pause, rewind and go into my listings

I just bought my new pvr box yesterday. It's activated and everything was fine until I hit either the pause, rewind, fast forward, record and listing button and a screen comes up saying "DVR is disabled" I have contacted the company twice and it worked for an hour then goes back to the problem again. I am getting really annoyed with all this. I'm getting fed up with the box. Please get rid of this issue and I don't ever wanna see it again!
