I have a new samsung computer with Windows 8. I have installed Office 2013 and the outlook program received emails yesterday morning and nothing today. This has been an on and off problem. I still get the emails on webmail and outlook 2007.
Could your Outlook 2007 be set to remove the messages from the server?
If you log into webmail before opening Outlook 2013, are there messages there for it to download?
Are there any error messages coming up in Outlook 2013 that it can't download new messages? Or why it can't maybe?
The Outlook 2007 is set to hold emails on server. There are emails waiting in webmail. There are no error messages the send and receive message just seems stuck today. The confusing thing is that it all worked fine yesterday morning.
Did you get your messages with Outlook 2007 and then try to get them with Outlook 2013? If that's the case, 2007 may have somehow marked them as being read, telling 2013 there's nothing new. This is just a guess.
I had not checked the emails on Outlook 2007 until the very end of day. There was a suggestion to repair the MS office in the control panel - programs. I did the quick fix and nothing changed. I then did the internet repair and that process uninstalled Office so I had to reinstall the whole program and the email is working this morning. So at this time I am pleased.
