Most channels not working and those that are are showing the wrong program, for example global Calgary is tsn.

Having the exact same issue. I wonder if this will affect PVR recordings this evening. Very annoying. Nothing but issues with Shaw for the last 6 months.
What a way to start the morning. Also noticed channels that I had previously, stated that I needed to order them. What the heck?
A guess, the channel map was changed - which channel is on what frequency, terminal may need to be reset.
Had the same this morning with the Gateway, seems to be sorting itself out though. Noticed DNU is done here now as I have the two extra MCHD channels now.

As a side note I had to reboot the portal this morning as well. I don't know, but it also seems my picture isn't as sharp either.
I wonder if all the issues people are having has anything to do with location? I'm in Mission BC.
As we continue our Digital Network Upgrade initiative, we implemented a change last night that impacted some of our Calgary customers and their TV service. Tegan - could you please add me to that list? I'm a Shaw customer located just west of Calgary, and I think I'm a victim of the same problem. I spoke to 'Oliver' at tech support this morning, about a single channel that suddenly appeared as 'unsubscribed'. He tried what he could to reset my Gateway box, etc., but the problem is clearly on Shaw's end.
Could someone maybe issue a customer bulletin, outlining anything you know about the geographical extent - and the reported symptoms - of the problem? It might save a half-dozen new threads on the same topic being spawned here over the next little while - and save the sanity of some of your phone-support people responding to 100 different customers all trying to call in with the same problem...

With regard to a bulletin, our support team has let us know that we did have a message notifying customers of channel issues in the Calgary area upon calling in; however, this has since been removed. We're now working to resolve any remaining channel problems with customers on an individual basis. If anybody else is still experiencing a "Not Authorized" message on channels in the Calgary region, please let me know as I'd be happy to help!
All subscribed channels available again as of 11:15 AM here in Cochrane.

Is this a problem to all customers in Calgary, just the NW or just select few? Is there not ways to get around this. ie have something set up before this happens, back up?
it looks like shaw got hacked since they cant even spell authorize correct lol

Dauost, this problem has now been resolved for most customers in Calgary, this now only appears to be affecting a very small percentage of Calgary customers who's digital cable boxes may not have updated properly. We are finding that resetting these few remaining boxes on an individual basis is resolving this, so for anyone else who may still be affected, please continue to let us know.
now my box wont even turn on. it powers on but nothing comes up on the screen, cant change channels. just has a 0 on the display
Sorry you're noticing another issue now. Occasionally this does occur when we reset your cable box, I will be taking care of this right away, please look for another direct message from me.
Fixed with a service call.
getting a similar thing here. NW calgary (Tuscany). Scrambled channels. 7 is TSN. etc... cats and dogs laying together. chaos. unhappy wife and kid.
