Can i set up two coax cable modem at the same house

Not applicable

I moved into the new house a few months ago and I'm using shaw. My room is too far so the wifi signal is super weak but the other rooms are fine. this borders me A LOT since I like to play video games and the ping is like sky high every time I get into the game. So I'm wondering if that possible to buy another modem and then use the coax jack in my room to create another wifi for my pc and phone? I checked out google and all I got is use the MOCA method but I don't really want to since I don't know how to install it to the modem I had. thanks for helping!

Yes, but a second cable modem will need a second internet subscription.

MoCA adapters can work, depending on what other services you have and the wiring in your home.

Try PowerLine networking too..  The current generation of Gigabit adapters are pretty good, depending again on the wiring in your home.

MoCA and PowerLine would save you paying for another internet account.

The ideal way would be to run an Ethernet cable into your room though.
