Like many of my disgruntled colleagues, I have certainly lost business because of this. During the "outage" I had others send me test emails to see what was going on. Ironically not one of the test emails came through with the lists of retrieved emails. This is all the proof I need to know there are other emails that have gone missing forever. A huge portion of my business is built from online lead generators, which all point back to my shaw address. While I know my google leads ran out (at my expense, thanks, shaw), with no leads coming in to me, there is the loss of leads, plus the loss of customers. Thursday and Friday are the two biggest lead days, and here I sit, without even the potential to set appointments. I guess relying on shaw was a huge financial mistake.
