I am interested in moving from Telus to Shaw for land line phone service. A feature that is important to me is Caller ID on inbound calls. For inbound calls from US area codes, Telus typically just displays the state (ie Florida), rather than the name of the caller. I understand Shaw does not even display the state, but just a "out of region" message.
1. Is this accurate?
2. Is it possible to manually associate certain inbound US numbers with a text entry - ie "Aunt Joan" with a number from Texas. Presumably this would be part of a contact list that would be managed as part of the package.
