Daylight saving started more than a week ago yet the time on my cable box hasn't changed. When will the time change make it to my Shaw cable box?
Try power cycling it, if that doesn't help, do the full reset by using this form https://activations.shaw.ca/Activate.aspx
Did your digital box switch over to the correct time zone yet? If not, let us know and we can push the change through from our side.
As of 05:06 this morning, the time change hadn't taken effect. I unplugged/plugged it twice but haven't yet tried kevinds's activation instructions because of the note, "This process is for new hardware only" on the link provided.
You're correct that that activation link is designed for new digital boxes. While it can be used to reset an already-activated digital box, it isn't for that use.
